2. Provision of the Website
This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data is transmitted to the web server and processed in server log files. This may include the requested page or file, date and time of access, IP address, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser type, operating system and requesting provider.
The data is processed to provide the website securely and reliably, analyze errors and prevent abuse on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide a secure and functional website. STRATO processes data as a processor within the scope of its hosting services. Log data is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer required for these purposes, unless legal obligations or security reasons require longer retention.
The website currently does not use its own analytics, advertising or marketing cookies and does not contain contact forms. If users contact us by email or through the linked contact page, the privacy information provided there also applies.
3. Scope of the App Privacy Information
The following sections explain how personal data is processed when using “Idle Fighter” on Android devices and, in the future, potentially on iOS devices. They apply in particular to local and cloud-based save games, Unity Authentication, Unity Cloud Save, Unity Cloud Code, Unity Analytics, Unity Leaderboards, PvP, guilds, in-app purchases, advertising through Unity LevelPlay or Unity Ads, support, security and fraud prevention.
4. Categories of Data
Depending on how the game is used, the following data may be processed:
- technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, language, region, screen resolution, IP address, timestamps, network and diagnostic data,
- pseudonymous user identifiers such as Unity Authentication Player ID, local player ID and platform identifiers,
- game and usage data such as progress, fighters, levels, prestige, inventory, equipment, quests, guilds, PvP results, leaderboard values, play time, settings and rewards,
- purchase data such as product ID, purchase time, transaction identifier, platform, purchase status and restorations,
- advertising data such as ad placement, reward type, whether an ad was watched completely, advertising or device identifiers where legally permitted,
- support data such as player ID, email address, message content, screenshots, purchase receipts and communication history.
We do not receive passwords for Google, Apple or Unity accounts.
5. Purposes and Legal Bases
We process data to provide the game, store save games, synchronize progress, restore purchases, operate PvP, leaderboards and guild features, provide rewarded advertising, analyze and improve the game, provide support, maintain security, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations.
Depending on the processing activity, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract performance, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and stable game operation, and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for analytics, advertising or tracking activities that require consent.
6. Services Used
Unity services actually used or planned for this project:
- Unity Engine,
- Unity Authentication,
- Unity Cloud Save,
- Unity Cloud Code,
- Unity Analytics,
- Unity Leaderboards,
- Unity LevelPlay / Unity Ads for rewarded ads,
- Unity In-App Purchasing.
Google services:
- Google Play Billing for in-app purchases,
- Google Play Console,
- Google Play Games Services as a possible platform account and account system.
Apple services, if an iOS version is released:
- Apple App Store,
- StoreKit for in-app purchases,
- Apple Game Center as a possible platform account,
- AppTrackingTransparency where required.
Firebase, Crashlytics or a separate proprietary backend are currently not used. Server logic and online data currently run through Unity Gaming Services, in particular Cloud Save, Cloud Code, Authentication and Leaderboards.
7. Analytics
Unity Analytics may collect events such as game start, stage progress, prestige, item actions, shop interactions, PvP, guild events, advertising and technical game events. These data help improve balance, stability, usability and error analysis.
Actual analytics retention period: based on the current project configuration, raw data is stored for up to 13 months or anonymized or aggregated earlier where Unity or our settings provide this. Aggregated reports may remain available for longer if individual users can no longer be identified.
8. Advertising
Idle Fighter may contain rewarded advertising. Unity LevelPlay / Unity Ads is currently intended for rewarded ads. Personalized advertising is offered only where technically enabled and where legally required consent has been obtained. Without consent, non-personalized or contextual advertising may be shown where technically and legally permitted.
9. Public Data in Leaderboards and Guilds
The following information may be visible to other players in leaderboards, PvP and guilds:
- player name,
- fighter image or fighter style,
- power,
- trophies, rank and leaderboard position,
- guild name and guild tag,
- PvP results,
- guild role,
- daily, weekly and total trophy contribution,
- approximate last online activity,
- guild membership duration.
Players should not use their real name as their player name.
10. Cloud Save and Account Systems
Cloud Save stores save games with a pseudonymous Unity Authentication Player ID. Google Play Games and Apple Game Center may be used as platform accounts for login, synchronization or store functions where supported by the respective platform version.
11. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
In-app purchases are processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not store complete payment data. No subscriptions are currently planned.
12. Retention
Local save games remain until the app or local save game is deleted. Cloud save games remain until account deletion or deletion by the user or provider. Weekly leaderboard data is reset seasonally; permanent leaderboards generally remain until deleted, anonymized or removed for technical or legal reasons. Support requests are usually retained for up to 3 years after completion. Purchase and accounting data are stored according to statutory retention periods. Security and fraud data are stored as long as needed for abuse prevention, legal enforcement or account protection.
13. Account and Data Deletion
Users can request deletion of their game account and associated personal data:
- by email: MarcusKunick@mail.online-impressum.de,
- via contact page: mein.online-impressum.de/marcuskunick/#Zweiter_Kontaktweg,
- through in-game settings where technically available.
To prevent unauthorized deletion, an appropriate identity or ownership check may be required. Deletion may permanently remove cloud saves, fighters, levels, virtual items, leaderboard values and settings. Deletion does not cancel active app store subscriptions; however, no subscriptions are currently planned.
14. Minors and Age Rating
The game is intended for users aged 13 and above. The store age rating is determined according to the information provided in Google Play Console or App Store Connect; the project currently aims for an age rating of 12+, subject to store review. Minors should use the game only with parental consent where legally required.
15. Data Subject Rights
Users have rights under the GDPR, including access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and lodging a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Requests can be sent to MarcusKunick@mail.online-impressum.de.
16. Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted transmission, access restrictions, plausibility checks, logging of security-relevant actions and protection against manipulation. Absolute protection cannot be guaranteed for internet-based systems.
17. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the website, game, services or legal requirements change. In the event of material changes, notice will be provided in the game or renewed consent will be requested where required.
